Ideal for use where a heavy blow is required in a relatively small striking area. The malleable iron head and the aluminium faces combine to provide the weight for the blow while the faces prevent damage to most items being struck.
Used as an alternative to copper as a general-purpose soft-faced hammer in engineering applications for assembly, repair and maintenance operations.
